About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our core engineering team. In this role, you will write clean code, collaborate with senior engineers, and ship real features that directly impact our users. This position is designed for growth—you will receive structured mentorship, code reviews, and opportunities to expand your technical foundation.
What You’ll Do
Write clean, maintainable code across our core applications and APIs.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and senior engineers to scope and implement new features.
Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and thorough peer code reviews.
Debug issues, write unit and integration tests, and help improve test coverage.
Assist in writing and maintaining technical documentation.
What We’re Looking For
Education or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or a related field), completion of an accredited coding bootcamp, or equivalent practical project experience.
Core Languages: Foundational knowledge in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Go, or C#).
Web Fundamentals: Basic understanding of web technologies, RESTful APIs, and relational/non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
Tooling: Familiarity with Git version control and command-line interfaces.
Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and a willingness to learn from constructive feedback.
Bonus Points (Nice-to-Haves)
Personal projects, open-source contributions, or apps deployed to the web.
Exposure to modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue) or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Familiarity with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
